Alexander von Furstenber is raised in New York City. He was from Brown University with a Bachelor of Art degree. He is a Co Managing member and Chief Investment Officer of Arrow capital Management, LLC. It is a private investment firm focused on global public equities. From 2001 he acted as chief investment officer of Arrow Investments Inc. He led to the restructuring of Diane von Furstenberg studio, LP, a global luxury lifestyle brand from $1millions to $200 millions of annual revenue for which he remains as a partner and Director. He also serves on the Board of Directors of US based internet conglomerate, IAC.

He serves on the Board of W.P. Stewart &Co, Ltd which is a Bermuda based management firm. He currently serves as Secretary and Director of The Diller -Von Furstenberg family foundation. This foundation is currently involved in a variety of charitable pursuits in environmental advocacy, community reform, education, child care, disease research, human rights and humanities. The foundation is responsible for the 2 important endowments to High line, a New York city park. He serves on the Board of friends of the high line. He is also on the National advisory council of A C R I A.
