Industry Development Conference & Career Day
September 13th, 9:00am - 3:00 pm
A special thanks to the Art Institute of California, San Diego and all
our speakers who made this a successful event!
This
day comprised of a keynote speaker (fashion stylist, Dianne O.),
strategic breakout sessions, and plenty of networking opportunities.
Participants had the opportunity to select between two tracks of content.
Our Entrepreneurship track, included three breakout sessions:
#1 Legal issues, #2 Financing options, and #3 Essentials of publicity.
Our
Future track, included three breakout sessions: #1 Green movement, #2
Web 2.0/social networking, and #3 global economy.
Following the second breakout session, we broke for the Career
Day segment. This included lunch and networking with 10 local
employers such as Nordstrom, Juicy & Collar Free. After lunch, participants
continued to the final breakout session.
